Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Have Reached Out To Kate Middleton After Cancer Diagnosis

Kate Middleton revealed on Friday, March 22, 2024, that she has been diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer. This comes after her “planned abdominal surgery” on January 16 and months of speculation on her whereabouts. Many were left feeling guilty for believing in the wild conspiracy theories that entertained the internet before she broke her silence.

William’s brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have reached out to the Princess of Wales both publicly and privately. The brothers have been estranged since Harry and Meghan resigned from their royal duties in 2020. Perhaps this awful disease can bring the family back together.

Prince Harry and Meghan know how hard it is to live one’s life in the public eye. “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace,” they said in a public statement. Kate’s diagnosis comes as her father-in-law King Charles also undergoes treatment for cancer.

Page Six reported that beyond their public statement, Harry and Meghan have also reached out privately to William and Kate. It is natural that a brother would want to send his love in hard times. There is still much tension between them but you have to start somewhere when mending a relationship.

Kate disclosed that her surgery revealed cancer that wasn’t thought to be there. “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous,” she stated. “The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.” She has already begun “a course of preventive chemotherapy.” Beyond Meghan and Harry, the world sends their well wishes to the future Queen of England.
