One Mom Is Sounding The Alarm About The ‘Firetruck Game’ Popular With Tweens

It is not easy being a tween. It is equally difficult to raise one and keep on top of the ever-changing trends, fads, and potential dangers. One mom is doing her part to help others navigate this beautiful but hormonal season of life.

There is a new game gaining popularity with junior high school aged kids. It’s called the firetruck game and it's an unhealthy way for tweens to explore their budding sexuality. It completely disregards consent. Thankfully TikTok user @the.funny.nurse is here to explain it to parents so they can help their tweens make better decisions.

“PSA to parents of children in junior high: My 11-year-old daughter just informed me that the boys are playing a game called the Firetruck Game,” the concerned Mom began. “I will preface this by saying that I know that kids will be kids and kids will do some stupid [expletive]. But we’ve got to do better teaching our boys to keep their hands off of other people and teaching our girls that it’s OK to have boundaries.”

She then goes on to break down the game. Essentially one person will use their hand as a “firetruck” and place it on the leg of another person. The “firetruck” moves up the leg closer to the other person’s private parts until they say “stop sign.” The first person is supposed to stop but instead will say “firetrucks don’t stop at stop signs” and continue their ascent.
