Michael Douglas is a proud father of three. The actor shares son Cameron, 45, with ex-wife Diandra Luke. He shares son Dylan, 23, and daughter Carys, 20 with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones. It’s not always easy to get the whole gang together to spend quality time with one another.
Michael opened up about this on an April 16, 2024, appearance on Today. He joked he and Catherine have to plan lavish vacations to “seduce” their adult children. He seems to have a healthy sense of humor about fatherhood and family life.
“Catherine and I are blessed with the fact that our kids Dylan and Carys still like to travel with us,” Michael explained. “And so, we just finished five weeks in India at Christmastime. And we’re always planning next year, what our trips will be and where we’ll go.”
That being said, Michael makes sure to create fun perks for his kids when they are hanging out with him. “But we’ve got good trips. We seduce them with good places to go,” he joked.

Catherine and Michael first met in 1998 at the Deauville Film Festival. He was promoting his film A Perfect Murder and she was doing the same for her flick The Mask of Zorro. Michael’s publicist arranged a meeting where he famously told her: "You know, I'm going to be the father of your children."
Catherine initially turned him down. "You know I've heard a lot about you, and I've seen a lot about you, and I think it's time that I say goodnight,” Michael recalled her saying on an appearance on the The Jonathan Ross Show in 2016.
Michael’s prediction ended up coming true. The happy couple was married in New York City at the Plaza Hotel in 2000. Before their wedding they welcomed Dylan into the world.
