For those not in the know, 1,000-Lb. Sisters is a TLC reality show centered around Amy Slaton-Halterman and Tammy Slaton. The action takes place in Dixon, Kentucky. The series chronicles the sisters’ weight loss journeys.
Tammy lost 440 pounds thanks to bariatric surgery. Since then, she has been celebrating herself by doing various activities. On April 23, 2024, Tammy and friend Haley Michelle posted on Instagram about their upcoming girls' trip. The next day, they shared a picture of them at the pool. Haley works as a physic medium.
Before the trip, Haley and Tammy went grocery shopping to prepare and took a photo to commemorate the occasion. Tammy is looking great in a black off-the-shoulder top that displayed her chest tattoo. This is not the first time Haley has appeared on Tammy’s Instagram. She was also in a couple of screenshots of FaceTime calls.
The girls' trip is just part of Tammy’s new outlook on life. She also went to Disney World for the first time to see Mickey Mouse. She also experienced visiting the beach for the first time.

The comment section was filled with support for Tammy’s weight loss.
