A man passed by a flea market in Indianapolis and noticed a skinny and disheveled homeless man sitting on the grass. He was skin and bones, and his head hung low in despair.
“I had to give this poor guy some money," he wrote on Facebook. "I NEVER give panhandlers money… this guy's stomach was hitting his back and ribs popping out.”
The photo was shared over 1,000 times. It quickly caught the attention of Danny Rhodes.
Danny instantly recognized the emaciated man in the photo as his brother, Johnny, who he hadn't seen since their mother died seven years ago. Danny said Johnny had a long history of drug and alcohol abuse.
"I'm so sick to my stomach right now,” said Danny. “I can't function to know someone is living this way and looks this bad."

Danny went to find his brother, but Johnny was nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, a complete stranger named Amy Renae Smith started a “Searching for Johnny Rhodes” Facebook page. Amy also filed a missing person report with police, but since Johnny is over the age of 18, it was completely up to him if he wanted to be found or accept help.
In the video, find out what happened next when Danny and the rest of his family continued searching for their missing loved one.
