Man Earns His Spot On No-Fly List By Allegedly Masturbating 4 Times On Flight To Phoenix

A Southwest passenger is facing consequences after exposing and fondling himself mid-flight, to the horror of his seatmate.

Antonio Sherrodd McGarity was arrested by Phoenix police after his flight from Seattle landed at Sky Harbor International Airport. He's facing federal charges and has landed a spot on Southwest's no-fly list.

According to a criminal complaint, during his three-hour flight, McGarity pulled down his pants and masturbated in front of a female passenger — not once, but four times.

"McGarity was seated in seat 11F and the female witness was seated in seat 11E," the complaint states. "Shortly after taking off, and while the aircraft was in the air, McGarity exposed his penis by pulling down his pants and shorts and began masturbating."

The complaint also stated that when McGarity fell asleep, the female got up and let the crew know what was happening. She also took photos as proof of the incident. "She was moved to another seat on the aircraft," it reads.

As soon as the plane landed, the woman was questioned by police. McGarity was questioned by the FBI. He admitted to the incident.

Though he said he had masturbated in plain view, he also defended himself by saying that he thought the woman was OK with it. He told the FBI that she put her hands in the air and told him "it really doesn't matter" if he masturbates. He added that he thought that was "kind of kinky."

McGarity was eventually convicted on federal charges.

He also is never allowed on a Southwest flight again, according to the airline. The airline told People, "We immediately placed the passenger who exhibited the lewd behavior on our No-Fly List, resulting in a lifetime ban from traveling on Southwest Airlines."
