Hungry Boy Calls 911 & Tells Them He’s Starving. Officer Sent To His House Discovers Truth

Isaiah was an adorable, smart 5-year-old who stood out for his kindness and intelligence. Due to his mother’s job that required a lot of travel, Isaiah spent most of his time with his grandmother, Melanie.

Even though Melanie tried her best, Isaiah wasn’t always an obedient child who stuck to the rules laid out for him. Likely due to his absent mother, Isaiah enjoyed pushing the boundaries and testing the adults around him to figure out who would stick around.

One morning during the winter holidays, Isaiah really wanted to get outside to play in the snow like a lot of the other kids, but his grandmother was older and didn’t like the cold. Melanie also had Parkinson’s disease, so she also found it difficult to venture out in the snow.

As he ate a bowl of cereal in front of the television that morning, he repeatedly asked his grandmother if they could go to the park because he wanted to play in the snow. Melanie told her grandson that she was feeling particularly old and weak that day, so it would have to wait.

Isaiah didn’t love his grandma’s answer to his request to go outside, but he decided to try to make the most of it by playing with his toys. Before he knew it, several hours had passed and his grandmother was asleep on the couch. The medications that she was on often made her tired.
