Sofía Vergara is pretty smart when it comes to recycling. Tattoos, that is! On the May 31, 2024, episode of The Talk, the actress appeared with her son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara. At one point in the show, the conversation became about tattoos and the mother poked at her son for having 34 of them.
"It's like a journal," the director said as Sofía chastised him. Then, turning the conversation, he said, "She has two tattoos herself." Both are initials on her wrist, the first one for her brother who died and the second one, as she explained it, “This was Joe Manganiello's initial, but now he’s gone so…"
Apparently everything worked out in Sofía's favor because the guy she's dating now also has a name that starts with the letter "J." Her current boyfriend is orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
"How lucky can I be that the guy that I’m going out [with] has the same initial,” she exclaimed, adding, "Recycle, recycle." Manolo then pointed out that his father's name also starts with a "J" so it seems like Sofía certainly has a thing for that letter!

Sofía and Joe split in July 2023 after seven years of marriage because she did not want to have any more children. "My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids, and I didn't want to be an old mom," she told Spanish newspaper El País. Sofía and Justin have been dating since October 2023.
