Christina Hall Agrees With Fan Who Suggested Her Ex Ant Anstead Join Her New HGTV Show

Christina Hall is in the process of divorcing Josh Hall, which has presented many questions from fans who are wondering how the upcoming HGTV show that was supposed to star both of them is going to proceed. But when one fan suggested that Christina ask another one of her exes to join the cast in a comment on Instagram, she had a pretty surprising response. The Flip Off could end up getting very interesting when it premieres…

As People pointed out, one of Christina’s followers commented on a post that she shared from a girls’ night out with a friend.

“How awesome would it be to have Ant replace Josh on The Flip Off? Ratings would go through the roof. If it happens, I need some credit. Lol,” the follower wrote.

Surprisingly enough, Christina responded — and it doesn’t sound like she hates the idea! “LOL that would be a genius ‘ratings’ idea just sayin,” she wrote.

Christina and Ant met in 2017 and got married in 2018, but divorced two years later. They share a son, Hudson, and have joint custody, but it’s not clear what their relationship looks like today.

These days, she’s been busy filming The Flip Off, an HGTV show that would pit her and Josh against her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his wife, Heather Rae Young, in a house flipping competition.

But after Josh filed for divorce earlier this month, he also bowed out of the show — according to what Heather and Tarek told E! News, only Christina will continue with the show.

After taking a bit of time to think, though, Christina seems to be having second thoughts when it comes to Ant replacing Josh on her new show — at least, for now.

While talking to Backgrid on August 1, 2024, she admitted that just working with one of her ex-husbands is plenty.

“It would be good for ratings, but I can’t work with any more exes,” she said, according to People. “I already work with Tarek.”
