Existing on social media as a member of the Trump family comes with a lot of criticism, and yet, the scrutiny hasn’t stopped President Donald Trump’s children from posting about their lavish trips or sharing other moments with their followers (aside from Barron, of course).
Generally, the criticism is directed at Ivanka, Don Jr., and Eric, but Tiffany Trump clearly isn’t immune, either. On September 20, Tiffany took to Instagram to share photos from her trip to India, and critics quickly called her out of touch and questioned her marriage.
Tiffany was reportedly in India for the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
She traveled with her husband, Michael Boulos, their son, Alexander, and her mom, Marla Maples. However, when she shared multiple photos on September 20, some commenters noticed that Michael wasn’t featured in any of them.
“tiff.. why have you didn’t take a photos with your husband, are you tired with marriage, and you wanna look to be single?” one person questioned in the comments.
Of the 12 photos that Tiffany chose to include in that one Instagram post, five of them were just of her. Which might be why some people left comments like, “Seems she’s in love with herself.”
To be fair, Tiffany also shared some photos from her India trip on September 16.
And her husband was in one of those. Out of 10. In that slideshow, eight of the photos were of Tiffany by herself. Tiffany appears to love traveling to India, as it’s not the first time she’s done so this year (she also shared multiple photos from a trip to India in May). However, not everyone loves that for her. While some people praised her for looking beautiful, others took issue with the seemingly extravagant trip.
“Why are you even there?” one commenter questioned. And of course, several people mentioned Tiffany’s dad, President Donald Trump, in the comments. “(You’re) enjoying our culture yet your pops been targeting us for the last 2 years…” someone wrote.
“Daughter cherishing Indian culture 🌸 while Dad enforces tariffs,” another commenter said in response to the vacation pics.
People also accused her of being “tone deaf.”
It’s possible that Tiffany’s vacation photos haven’t gotten as much hate as Ivanka’s have. Still, people accused Tiffany of being “so out of touch” for sharing all of these photos on social media.
It doesn’t help that Tiffany recently shared a significant number of photos from an August trip to Ibiza as well. “KIDDOS ARE STARVING,” someone commented. “Don’t show off so much,” another commenter advised.
“Seriously, you post this while people are starving!” a third critic wrote.
People pointed out that Tiffany and her husband always seem to be on vacation (though her husband was once again just featured in a couple of the Ibiza photos).
In July, Tiffany and Ivanka both sparked backlash when they shared photos from the World Cup final. Critics called them “spoiled rich” kids who are “dripping with privilege” and yet continue to post about it, seemingly unconcerned with how it comes across.
