The Chicago Cubs have had such an unlucky fate that they've been dubbed with the nickname "lovable losers" because their World Series wins in 1907 and 1908 were their last for 108 years — until now.
November 2, 2016, will be the day that changed that fate for them forever.
After their 108-year losing streak, the Cubs have finally won the World Series!
With a score of 7 to 8, the Chicago team beat the Cleveland Indians in the seventh game!
But, even this year wasn't smooth sailing. Fans were petrified when they were 0-3 in the beginning of the series, but they pushed through and triumphed in the end!
Finally, all of the loyal fans get to celebrate, and the best way they know how! For most, that might include some fresh and fun drinks.
But, for this dad, it includes a very old one.
In 1984, this man decided that he was going to save this beer, and not crack it open until the Cubs finally won again.
Unfortunately for him, it took 32 years for that to happen, but fortunately for us, we get to watch this funny family crack open this old beer! And celebrate in a one of a kind way.
Although the video cuts before he starts chug-a-lugging, this is clearly one devoted fan. And a happy man, too!
Would you drink that beer? I know I wouldn't!
