Jennifer Renz and her husband Dennis will be telling this story over and over again for the rest of their lives. It all started when Jennifer went in for a routine checkup.
That's when the doctor alerted the pregnant mom that she was about to give birth — 12 weeks early. The mom had no idea she was going into labor!
The Cleveland, OH, mom gave birth to a 1 pound, 13-ounce little girl named Grace. But she wasn't done yet: Jennifer was pregnant with twins. However, it seemed that right after her daughter was born, her son didn't quite want to come out.
The doctor didn't want to induce labor and figured if the baby needed more time to grow in the womb, that was for the best. So little Noah stayed inside his mommy for a whopping seven days, eventually being born at 2 pounds, 15 ounces. It may sound crazy, but there are even triplets born 5 years apart!
Yes, Grace and Noah are twins with completely different birthdays! That's 9,700 minutes apart, to be exact.
"The whole time I wanted them to have separate identities and be separate people, and now they have their own separate special days," Jennifer said.
We're sure the little tykes will grow up loving each other no matter what!
