Actress Angie Harmon says that the person who delivered her groceries over the weekend shot and killed her dog, leaving her "traumatized & beyond devastated at the loss of our beloved boy & family member."
In an Instagram post, Angie, 51, wrote that the Instacart delivery driver allegedly "got out of his car, delivered the food & THEN shot our dog." She shared pictures of her beloved pet, Oliver, with text overlay that read "Rest in peace sweet Ollie."
On Saturday, March 30, 2024, the person who allegedly killed the dog was delivering groceries for Instacart. Angie said in her post that the delivery driver "was shopping under a woman’s identity named Merle" and "claimed 'self defense.'"
She also noted that "he did not have a scratch or bite on him nor were his pants torn."
Angie explained that she and her daughters were at home at the time. She added that their Ring camera was inside the house charging, so she suspects the delivery person noticed this and "knew he wasn’t being recorded."
She shared more details via her Instagram Story, including a screenshot that showed her Instacart tracking information. "The fact that someone could commit such a heartless act is beyond comprehension to me," she wrote in her Story. "And I'm devastated that I didn't get to say goodbye to him."

CMPD’s Animal Care and Control also responded to the scene."
