Adam Driver and his wife Joanna Tucker are extremely private people. News only recently broke that they quietly welcomed a baby girl this year. The news became public knowledge when Adam was rehearsing for Saturday Night Live and tried out some fatherhood-themed jokes.
Adam is making the rounds promoting his latest film project Ferrari. He appeared on Live with Kelly & Mark on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, and opened up even more about his new baby girl and fatherhood. Adam and Joanna also have a 6-year-old son.
Adam is less anxious this time around than he was as a first-time parent. “I'm remembering this time that I have to enjoy it more,” he explained. “This first time, it went too fast and I was so anxious for him to kind of develop so he could communicate and tell me what was wrong. And now I'm more patient with her. I'm trying to enjoy it more."
It doesn’t hurt that his daughter seems to like him more than his son did. "He didn't want anything to do with me for the first three years," Adam joked. That doesn’t mean having a newborn is easy. When asked if he is sleeping, Adam replied "not a lot, not a lot, not a lot." He also joked that “you kind of forget how much babies kinda suck.”

Thankfully, Adam seems to have a good sense of humor to get him through the ups and downs of fatherhood. He also revealed her age, 8 months. She seems to have him wrapped around her finger already.
