Amanda Knox And Husband Christopher Robinson Open Up About Married Life After Acquittal

Amanda Knox has always been quite the polarizing public figure. In 2007, Amanda was convicted for the brutal murder of her roommate while the two were on an exchange in Italy.

After serving four years, the charges were then overturned, but she ultimately ended up being convicted again in 2014. Due to “glaring errors” in the case, that conviction ended up being thrown out as well, and Amanda was released. A man named Rudy Guede was convicted of Meredith Kercher’s murder, but he was released in 2021 due to good behavior.

In this exclusive interview with the Tamron Hall show, Amanda and her husband, Christopher Robinson, sit down to talk about what life has been like for the two after Amanda’s time in prison.

One of the first things Tamron asks Amanda is, if she could back and do it all again, would she choose to study abroad?

“I still think that studying abroad is a really, really important experience and what happened to me was an incredible extreme,” Amanda explains. Christopher notes that wrongful convictions happen all the time all over the world.

Amanda also explains that due to her experiences going through several murder trials, jail time, and two convictions that were ultimately overturned, she sees the criminal justice system completely differently now and is actually grateful for that experience.

Tamron also asks Christopher what it was like to step into the limelight with Amanda and if he was even conscious of what that might be like when they began dating.

“I want to see her as a human being. I want to see her for who she is. So, I made that decision upfront to not step into that media world when getting to know her,” Christopher explains.
