Teen Girl Goes For Drive After Bad Breakup, Car Crash Leaves Her Hanging On Power Line

It is no easy feat going through adolescence. Whether you’re experiencing good times or bad times, there is always going to be a new emotion or feeling that bubbles up unexpectedly and completely throws you off course.

Kennedy Littledike’s life took a tragic turn in May 2021. She was involved in a serious car crash that would alter the reality for both herself and her loved ones forever.

The teen and two of her closest friends headed out to a mountain near her house in Idaho in the hopes of catching a sunset that would help cheer the 16-year-old up. She was going through a particularly tough breakup.

According to Inside Edition, as the three teens drove back to her house, Kennedy started crying again and she lost control of her vehicle. The crash caused her car to hit an electrical pole, which caused the vehicle to flip over several times. Kennedy was the first one who was flung from the car and she didn't land on the ground as she was “actually hanging in the power line by [her] broken leg.”

The entertainment news outlet reports that even though where Kennedy landed caused her several life-altering injuries, including a broken femur and a broken humerus bone, it ultimately saved her life.
