Britney Spears has some of the most dedicated fans out there. They were instrumental in helping her get out of her 13-year conservatorship and they are not done supporting her. Britney’s ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake just released a new single, “Selfish.” Instead of listening to it, Britney’s fans are streaming her single of the same name from 2011.
Justin appeared on Saturday Night Live on January 27, 2024, to promote his single. His performance got great reviews. But he single still lags behind Britney’s on the charts.
Justin had not performed on the show in a decade. Beyond “Selfish,” he also sang another single, “Sanctified.” Both will appear on his upcoming album, Everything I Thought It Was.
Britney’s fans dislike him because of how he treated the pop star during and after their relationship. After their breakup, he implied that Britney cheated by using a look-alike model in his “Cry Me a River” music video. Britney’s memoir The Women in Me revealed the truth. Justin did the majority of the cheating in their relationship. They started dating in 1999 and broke up in 2002.

The memoir also revealed that Britney got an abortion at Justin’s request. He was not ready to be a dad even though Britney was open to being a mom. Britney’s fans are not quick to forgive.
