Pet Parent Calls Police When She Notices Odd Smell & Cat Refuses To Get Out Of The Sink

Some pets have rather strange habits, but when you take a step back and think about the reasoning behind why they’re acting the way they are, things usually start to make sense.

Sandra’s cat, Missy, would typically run to her bedroom door every morning in hopes that breakfast was the next item on their agenda. On this day, Sandra opened the door and wasn’t met with her favorite feline friend, and that immediately gave her a funny feeling.

Missy had a special knack for getting into mischief, especially during the nighttime hours, so Sandra went to the kitchen and began shaking a bag of her favorite treats, but even that didn’t make Missy come running.

When Sandra made her way to the bathroom to check things out, she noticed that she had left the window ajar the evening before due to the heat. She was in the middle of wondering if Missy had escaped when she noticed her cat curled up in the bathroom sink.

Sandra had to get to work, so she shut the bathroom door and told Missy that she didn’t want her going in there while she wasn’t home. When Sandra arrived home from work, she found her cat curled up directly outside the closed bathroom door.

When she went into the bathroom with the cat closely behind her, Sandra noticed a pungent smell coming from the sink. She couldn’t quite place the scent, but it didn’t smell good. It was at that moment that she decided to call emergency services to see if someone could come out to investigate.
