Chuck Norris, Action Film Star, Has Died: The Actor Was 86 Years Old

Chuck Norris has died. The martial arts champion, who became a legendary action film star and protagonist of the famous series Walker, Texas Ranger, passed away at the age of 86.

Norris had been hospitalized in a Hawaiian Islands hospital on Thursday, March 19, and his family released a statement today, Friday, March 20, announcing that he passed away that same morning.

“While wishing to keep the circumstances private, we want to let it be known that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace,” his family wrote. Numerous action films made him known to the general public, such as A Force of One, Delta Force, Lone Wolf McQuade and Code of Silence.

In July 2017, Chuck Norris suffered two heart attacks during the unified world martial arts championship.

The actor was then transported to a Las Vegas hospital, where he resided. These health problems did not prevent him from returning to cinema with a main role in the action film Agent Recon by director Derek Ting in 2024, and with the interpretation of himself in the comedy Zombie Plane by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier in the same year.
