A woman who used to work as a Disney cast member has opened up about one of the negative aspects of her former job. Walt Disney World might be "the most magical place on Earth," but working as an employee at the park isn't always a magical experience, as Disney character performers sometimes deal with stalkers, the woman, whose name is Jennifer, shared on TikTok. In response to one of Jennifer's videos, someone asked about the difference between a Disney character stalker and someone who just really enjoys going to the park and goes regularly.
Jennifer explained that the stalkers she's referring to might heckle, harass, or follow Disney characters and try to find more information about their work schedules and whereabouts.
Jennifer explained that these stalkers are well-known among Disney cast members. "If you are a Disney character stalker, [the character actors] know who you are and they talk about you," she said in a video.
Some of the stalkers that Jennifer allegedly dealt with while working at the park were temporarily banned from entering. Some of them were allowed to enter, but an announcement was made to cast members when they entered the park, she alleged.
"Like if you have to be announced to the people that work there, maybe you shouldn’t be allowed in," she pointed out.
Jennifer worked as a Disney cast member for 10 years. She claims that one of the known stalkers at the park was banned from entering at one point, but was later given a job at the park. He also allegedly tried to kiss cast members. Jennifer said that one time, he asked her, "Before I go, can I have a kiss?"

Disney character performers help create a magical experience for guests, and Jennifer said that many of the stalkers she encountered were disruptive. They also sometimes obtained information about employee schedules, allowing them to follow specific cast members.
"When you take that costume off, it should be safe for you to be who you are and go home," she said in a video.
