Melania Trump's former aide and ex-friend has something to say about the Trump family and the other people in their circle. On Monday, November 13, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who is also the author of the book Melania and Me, took to X to share her feelings about the Trump family after an article about Jennifer Weisselberg was published by The Nation. Jennifer is the former daughter-in-law of Allen Weisselberg, who was chief financial officer of the Trump Organization. The article in The Nation alleges that Jennifer's recent misfortunes are not a coincidence.
The journalist behind the article in The Nation, Joan Walsh, tweeted: "Donald Trump faces 91 felony counts. He and ex-CFO Allen Weisselberg are looking at NY business banishment for fraud charges. What happened to one of the first whistleblowers, Jennifer Weisselberg?"
Jennifer is considered to be a whistleblower because she provided information that helped lead to the conviction of Allen Weisselberg, her former father-in-law. She provided information about the Trump Organization to prosecutors and the media.

She believes her recent "bad luck" is not luck at all, but an intentional effort to make life difficult for her. “Barry told me he wants me homeless, without my kids, so I have to go back to Florida,” Jennifer told The Nation of her ex-husband, Barry Weisselberg. Barry works for the Trump Organization.
The way lawyers working for the Weisselbergs have portrayed Jennifer have had a significant impact on her. "Whether or not it’s retaliation, it’s clear that through a crushing barrage of legal actions, lawyers working for the Weisselbergs and for Jennifer’s scandal-plagued former landlord, Stellar Management, have depicted her as a mentally ill person, desperate for her '15 minutes of fame,' who neglected her children and failed to pay her rent," The Nation article claimed.
An anonymous law enforcement official told the publication that “it’s very credible that they’re retaliating against her."
Melania's former aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, essentially chimed in to say that she wouldn't put it past anyone in "Trump World" because "BETRAYAL is the norm."
"BETRAYAL is the norm in Trump World- even to FAMILY & FRIENDS," she wrote on X. "As soon as you raise the alarm about their nefarious activities they make sure to cast you in an unflattering light & GAG you from speaking the truth with false accusations, non-disclosure agreements, & subpoenas."
Stephanie also retweeted one of her own tweets from July. "Gaslight & Deflection is part of the Trump Playbook," she wrote at the time. "@MELANIATRUMP is the QUEEN of BETRAYAL, DECEIT, LIES & GRIFT so the irony that Melania is maintaining a low profile because ‘SHE’ feels ‘betrayed & disappointed by some friends, aides, & family members’ is BS," she continued in the tweet.
Stephanie has also spoken about how the former first lady's silence and absence on the campaign trail is intentional: it's her "armor," she says. "It was a way to protect her by not letting anyone fully know who she is," she told The Washington Post.
"We discussed how her intentional lack of communication with the media would keep everyone guessing and ultimately maintain the narrative of being mysterious and an enigma," she continued.
