A group of seven friends has blown the internet's mind by introducing us to several years of awesome Halloween costumes. Each year, Jamie Bell, Heather Cross, Paige Dall, Auburn Salcedo, Aida Ward, Lauren Woita, and Lindsay Zautke choose a celebrity to dress up as. Then each of them chooses an iconic role from that celebrity and dresses up. In the end, they have seven different iterations of the same person.
You might think people wouldn't understand that they're part of a group costume, but once you see them together, it makes perfect sense. One of the ladies, Auburn Salcedo, shared their Halloween antics on Imgur and Reddit.

It wasn't long before people were throwing suggestions their way for what they could do next. With their ability to take a theme and run with it, it'll be awesome regardless of what idea they go with. Take a look at some of their past costumes!!
These seven women met by chance. They were all hired for advertising work and went through a training process together. Auburn told BuzzFeed how they all ended up so close, saying, "It was a totally hellish experience and we ended up bonding so that we could make it through the day-to-day craziness. We all quit within two weeks of each other and have been best friends ever since!"
The women all share a love for dressing up on Halloween, and they got the idea to start doing group costumes in 2011.
Their first attempt left them a little frustrated. "Our first group costume was zombie pageant queens," she explained. "All the costumes for women at the time were hyper-sexualized and not incredibly interesting."
The next year, the women began the formula that they've since perfected. They all dressed up as the same celebrity in different roles. First up was Johnny Depp. They each dressed up as his characters in seven different movies: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd, Cry-Baby, Edward Scissorhands, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
In 2013, they took on Jim Carrey. They dressed like him in Mr. Popper's Penguins, Dumb and Dumber, The Cable Guy, The Mask, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and Batman Forever.
According to Auburn, the group's favorite was their 2014 Will Ferrell costumes. They dressed like him in Elf, Blades of Glory, Zoolander, Anchorman, A Night at the Roxbury, Semi-Pro, and Talladega Nights.
Their 2015 Robin Williams costumes came just a year after the actor's tragic death. They paid homage to him by dressing up as his characters in Mrs. Doubtfire, Mork & Mindy, Jumanji, Popeye, Hook, Aladdin, and The Birdcage. Note that Auburn as Genie looks Photoshopped in because she inserted a pre-makeup iteration of herself as she was unhappy with the final product.
In 2016, they went way iconic with Bill Murray costumes. They dressed up as the comedic great in Garfield, Space Jam, Caddyshack, The Life Aquatic, Ghostbusters, Kingpin, and What About Bob?
This year, they killed it with their Tom Hanks costumes! It was especially sweet, since they had to take a break last year. Their Tom Hanks costumes are from Toy Story, Cast Away, Apollo 13, Forrest Gump, Big, Saturday Night Live character David S. Pumpkins, and A League of Their Own.
The yearly challenge to come up with an idea has been fun for the group of friends. It's a unique way to keep their bond.
Auburn even made a detailed grid showing who has dressed up as which character.
Friends of the women love seeing what they come up with year after year.
It's wonderful for them to know that their tradition is admired by so many.
This should inspire us all to come up with an awesome tradition with our own best friends!
