Gypsy Rose Blanchard's story has captivated the general public for years. And recently, Gypsy — who is expecting her first child — posted a gender reveal video.
In 2016, Gypsy Rose was sentenced to 10 years in prison for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. She was released after serving seven years, on December 29, 2023. Gypsy Rose's then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, who stabbed Dee Dee to death, is currently serving life in prison.
Although Gypsy Rose married Ryan Anderson while incarcerated, the couple split shortly after her release. She is currently dating her ex, Ken Urker, and they announced they were expecting a baby in July.

On August 10, the expecting mom took to Instagram to share a gender reveal video. "Baby, I'm your mom," Gypsy Rose said. "And I'm your dad," Ken added, to which the mom-to-be continued, "and you are …"

"… a girl!" expecting parents exclaimed in unison.
The clip then showed a still image of Gypsy Rose and Ken popping balloons to reveal pink confetti. "The moment y’all have been waiting for … It’s a girl!" the soon-to-be mom reiterated in her Instagram caption.
In the caption, Gypsy Rose said she and Ken were 'over the moon' for their baby girl.
"Ken and I are over the moon and are so excited to start our family," Gypsy Rose continued. "We’re so thankful for our friends, neighbors, and families who came to our party today! We also want thank ya’ll for your love and support! ✨."

Gypsy Rose revealed she was pregnant in a YouTube video published on July 9; she also shared clips from the announcement via Instagram.
"I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025," she told fans. "We're both very excited. This was not planned at all. It was completely unexpected."
Gypsy Rose added, "But we are both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood and all of the things I wished I could have had when I was little."
