Dayanna Rodas is the hostess at an IHOP restaurant on Long Island. With more and more restaurants easing back into pre-health crisis business, Dayanna has seen busier tables and longer waits for hungry customers.
Recently, Dayanna was at work when a father and daughter walked in, hoping to sit down. When she told them it was going to be a 30-minute wait, the pair decided to leave altogether.
What Dayanna didn't know was that the man — clad in a face mask, sweatshirt, and basketball shorts — was Adam Sandler!
As the security footage went viral, many viewers are praising the 54-year-old actor for how he handled the inconvenience. Perhaps other celebrities wouldn't have reacted this way.

"For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes," Adam wrote on Twitter.
