In October 2023, just a couple of days before her 19th birthday, Isabella Strahan got devastating news. She had brain cancer. She went public with her diagnosis alongside famous former NFL player dad Michael Strahan in January 2024.
On June 8, 2024, Isabella celebrated a big milestone. She is done with chemotherapy treatments. She took to TikTok to mark the happy occasion. She is nervous for what comes next, but is sharing her story so others can learn from it.
Isabella's twin sister Sophia Strahan joined her. The pair danced to Bryson Tiller's "Let 'Em Know." Isabella donned a gold crown and looked so happy. She captioned the video simply "did it."
Isabella's treatment has not been easy. She underwent three brain surgeries and radiation in addition to chemotherapy. She has been vlogging her way through it and has openly discussed how painful it is. While she is happy to put it all behind her, this also comes with uncertainty.
"Tomorrow's really my last day of chemo," she explained in May. "It's crazy and then it's my last cycle and then I'm done. It's insane."
"That's the thing, I just wait around for the next time I get chemo and I'm kind of scared," she admitted. "Once I'm done, how I'm gonna go back to normal life? 'Cause I feel like there's always gonna be another treatment or something I have to do."
