Donald Trump Jr.’s ex has clearly moved on, and his sister Ivanka Trump is happy for him. Shortly after relationship rumors began circulating, Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump made their relationship Instagram official. Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jr. for more than 12 years and divorced in 2018. They share five children.
Tiger and Vanessa made their relationship Instagram official on Sunday, March 23, 2025. The professional golfer posted two photos and wrote, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
Some fans were admittedly confused by the post, but Ivanka Trump was extremely supportive of her brother’s ex-wife. Commenting on Tiger’s post, Ivanka wrote, “So happy for you both!”
Before Tiger and Vanessa confirmed their relationship, several publications reported that they had been “quietly dating” for “several months.” According to unnamed sources who spoke to People and Page Six, Don Jr. was aware of Tiger and Vanessa’s relationship before they went public with it.
In fact, he’s reportedly “cool” with it and “fully supportive” of the relationship. especially because “he also knows that his father [President Donald Trump] respects Tiger.”
After Tiger posted about Vanessa on Instagram, some fans jokingly asked if his account had been “hacked.”
“This is the most un Tiger Woods-like post I’ve ever seen,” one person commented on the post. Another person wrote, “No way TW wrote this.”
Some of the pro golfer’s fans honed in on the way Tiger wrote “love is in the air” and didn’t think he wrote the post himself.
“You think he really said ‘love is in the air?'” one fan questioned. Yet another fan commented, “read this caption 10 times and still trying to figure out what it means.”
While many fans found the post confusing, one offered a possible explanation for it: “Divorced dad Facebook posts are the best.”
Despite the confusion Tiger provoked when he publicized his new relationship in this way, Ivanka wasn’t the only person supporting the new couple; many others also congratulated Tiger and Vanessa.
