Paris Fashion Week is held twice a year: in spring and fall. High-end fashion houses, such as Dior and Chanel, hold presentations all over the city, often in historical locations. The 2023 fall edition took place from September 25 to October 3. Most attendees dress up in elaborate outfits with matching accessories and styling for the events.
Pamela Anderson decided to take a different approach this year. The former Baywatch star attended the Isabel Marant show in a simple yellow dress and wore no makeup. Jamie Lee Curtis believes Pamela is brave and beautiful for this and took to Instagram to sing her praises.
“THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! @pamelaanderson in the middle of fashion week with so many pressures and postures,” Jamie captioned her Instagram post on October 1. “And, this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion.”
Pamela continued to embrace her natural beauty at the Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood events.
Jamie was not the only one to praise Pamela’s actions. Many took to the comment section to share their admiration.
Selma Blair commented: “Love this. Beautiful self assuredness.”
“That’s pretty iconic,” Chelsea Handler wrote.

Beyond makeup, Pamela is getting rid of things that no longer serve her, including clothing. She plans to sell many of her iconic looks including her Baywatch bathing suits. “I don’t like to waste,” she explained. “Better to clear my mind, clear my closet. Make room for this new life. I can’t wait to see others enjoy these pieces.”
