Jelly Roll's Daughter Reacts to Public Response Over Divorce From Bunnie XO

Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, is frustrated by the public’s reaction to her father’s divorce from Bunnie XO.

On Tuesday, the 18-year-old took to TikTok in a now-deleted video to share her thoughts.

“Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter. It’s f—— crazy,” she wrote, according to Entertainment Weekly. “Go on somewhere yall. Worry ‘bout your house — not mine. I’m not speaking on it — yet.”

News broke Monday night that Jelly Roll (born Jason DeFord) filed for divorce from Bunnie X0 (real name Alisa DeFord) on May 18. Per court documents obtained by Entertainment Weekly, Jelly Roll listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind the filing. Though both his children from previous relationships, Jelly Roll shared primary custody of Bailee and Noah Buddy, 9, with Bunnie.

Their breakup comes as a shock to longtime fans of Jelly Roll. USA Today noted that the couple married in 2016 and had frequently spoken in public about their relationship, including family planning, infidelity, and the singer’s health journey.

During his Grammy acceptance speech in February for Best Contemporary Country Album, Jelly Roll offered an emotional tribute to Bunnie, saying, “I want to thank my beautiful wife. I would have never changed my life without you. I would have ended up dead or in jail. I would have killed myself if it wasn’t for you and Jesus.”

Jelly Roll is currently on tour. He’s scheduled to perform at the Broadview Stage at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) in Saratoga Springs on Thursday, and at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse on Tuesday, June 23.
