Back in the day, and honestly still to this day, some men and women have tended to overstep boundaries. There is a lot of pushing-boundary moments that are seen on live TV between celebrities.
One of the most memorable uncomfortable moments was during a live airing of the 1995 MTV Awards show. Cameron Diaz was presenting an award with American musician Chris Isaak. They were presenting the award for the best kiss of the year.
This, for some reason, gave Chris the idea that he could kiss Cameron, but as the video shows, she is not having it. Once they walk out onto the stage and get to the podium, Chris starts to read his lines off the teleprompter.
He begins, “It starts with a look from across the room, or on a train, or a bus careening out of control.” He is then followed by Cameron, who says, “Sweet nothings are whispered, drinks are purchased, and on the director say so—.” Cameron doesn’t even get to finish her line before Chris attempts to kiss her.
Even though his forceful act is already creepy, as he is trying to kiss her, he keeps saying, “Come here, baby! Come here, baby!” which makes the whole ordeal even more spine-chilling.
You can clearly see Cameron getting irritated and trying to push him off her as he is grabbing at her while she is trying to present this award. She eventually gives in just to get him off her, but you can see that she is more than uncomfortable.

After the nominees are read, and the camera goes back to the presenters, Chris is extremely close to her and can’t keep his hands to himself. Once the winners are announced, Jim Carrey comes to her rescue.
When Jim gets on the stage, without hesitation, he goes straight up to Chris and gives him a big kiss. After that happens, Chris looks thrown off and a little uncomfortable. He clearly didn’t like getting a taste of his own medicine.
However, years later, Jim was accused of the same thing he had seemed to defend Cameron from.
