Jodie Turner-Smith’s attitude toward her ex-husband Joshua Jackson would make Yoda proud. The Acolyte star wants to have a peaceful co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband Joshua Jackson. The couple were married for more than three years before Jodie filed for divorce in October 2023.
Jodie and Joshua share a 4-year-old daughter named Juno Rose Diana Jackson. Months after their divorce was filed, Joshua was spotted out holding hands with Lupita Nyong’o. Jodie opened up about her feelings on this in a June 14, 2024, interview with The Cut.
Jodie filed for divorce because she believed she and Joshua were on "different paths" in life. She is happy for his new relationship. "Good for them," she stated. "We need happiness in order to peacefully co-parent."
Jodie has celebrity divorce role models. "I’m trying to get us to the Gwyneth [Paltrow] and Chris Martin level," she explained. “I truly hope they’re happy and that it benefits us as a family." Gwyneth and Chris famously coined the phrase "consciously uncoupling" when divorcing in 2014.

Jodie and Joshua’s daughter Juno was named after the Roman goddess. She seems to be embracing her moniker. When asked what she wants to be when she grows up she replied: "Well, I want to be a warrior mother because I’m strong."
Jodie shared a picture of the goddess during the interview. "I look at that picture often and remind myself that this is the energy I named her after," she explained. "So I shouldn’t be surprised that I literally have a warrior."
