What to Know
Kid Rock is mad at the “fake liberal media” journalists who reported that he’s charging $5,000 for premium concert tickets. But that is the actual price of his “extremely limited First Class seats.” In a social media rant, Kid Rock complained about the recent reports about his Freedom 250 Tour and said he “will pray” for the journalists who are claiming that his “premium” front-row tickets will set you back $5,000, even though they will.
His point was that not all of the tickets at his shows cost $5,000. Only a few tickets in the front row do. However, $5,000 is still a lot to ask for a concert ticket, which is why it made headlines in the first place.
Kid Rock said “sooner or later God will cut ‘em down” when referring to journalists.
Critics couldn’t help but laugh when they saw Kid Rock’s rant on X, because immediately after complaining about the media reporting that he’s selling tickets for $5,000, he explained that he is indeed doing exactly that. “Here we go again,” the musician wrote. “The fake liberal media says I’m charging $5,000 for front-row tickets. They know d— well that’s not the full story.”
So what is the full story? He went on to explain that, yes, some of his tickets do cost $5,000. But… “Those are extremely limited First Class seats like I explained — FOUR tickets per row, first five rows only (5k per seat row 1, 4k row 2, 3k row 3, 2k row 4, 1k row 5) — Again ONLY 4 seats in rows 1 through 5 (20 ‘first class’ seats in venues that hold 15k to 25k people),” he explained in the post.
Apparently, he thinks the media should’ve focused on other details instead. “Instead of reporting facts or that lawn seats are only 50 bucks or how we are cutting out the scalpers, they twist it for headlines / clicks and to attack me – nothing new here,” he continued. “I WILL pray for them but I know that sooner or later God will cut ‘em down.”

Then explains that he is, in fact, charging $5,000 for front-row tickets 😂😂😂
But people immediately pointed out that he confirmed that the reports about $5,000 tickets are true.
In response to his post, he received tons of comments like, “So, just to confirm, you’re charging $5000 for front row tickets?” and, “You just said this was fake news and then literally confirmed it was true.” Some people even shared screenshots from Ticketmaster, showing that the so-called “First Class Seats” for Kid Rock’s tour are truly listed at $5,000.

People really are buying tickets to his concert, but not the $5,000 ones.
So, yes, we all understand that most of the tickets for his concerts cost less than $5,000. Other tickets in the first five rows still cost thousands. After those rows, the price decreases to about $510. Second-level seats are priced at $100 and $200, while general admission lawn seats cost around $50. Based on the prices for his “premium” seats, Kid Rock seems to be anticipating a surge in popularity after his performance at Turning Point USA’s alternative halftime show. But, shocker, it looks like people are not so interested in spending $5,000 per ticket, according to a report from Taste of Country. The publication found that many of the $5,000 seats are still available. Who would’ve guessed?
