Kirsten Dunst’s And Jimmy Kimmel’s Sons Got Into A Fight In Their Kindergarten Class

Part of growing up is learning how to get along with others. These social lessons feature prominently in kindergarten. Kirsten Dunst is helping her son Ennis, 5, navigate this.

Kirsten appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday April 4, 2024. Jimmy’s and Kirsten’s sons are in the same kindergarten class. They got into an adorable fight over the seating arrangements but have since made up.

Jimmy’s son Billy is 6 years old. Jimmy brought up the disagreement on the air. “They had a fight, you know. Do you know about this?” he asked Kirsten.

Kirsten was well informed. “Oh I heard in our parent-teacher conference, Miss Julie told me about it,” she responded

Kirsten told Jimmy what Ennis told her. “I think Billy was sitting in a chair, and then Ennis went to maybe sharpen a pencil, came back, saw there was an empty chair and sat in it,” Kirsten recalled. “And then Billy came back and was mad that Ennis was in his chair.”

Jimmy said Billy said it was the other way around. Jimmy joked the boys were “unreliable” witnesses. Regardless of who did what, “there was a displacement there and then they both cried,” Jimmy mused.

Thankfully, the boys have moved on from this incident. Everyone is friends again. “They’re a very sweet group of boys. They all get along very well,” Kirsten gushed.
