Eerie Clip Of Kyle Busch’s Widow Making Confession Resurfaces After His Sudden Death

A chilling clip has resurfaced after the sudden death of NASCAR driver Kyle Busch. Kyle died on Thursday, May 21. He was 41 years old. A statement from his family said that he died of severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis, per ESPN. Kyle and his wife, Samantha Busch, welcomed two children: son Brexton, 11, and daughter Lennix, 4. In the resurfaced podcast clip from last year, Samantha talked about the circumstances in which she would want to have another child, and it’s especially heartbreaking now.

During a November 2025 episode of her Certified Oversharer podcast, Samantha explained that she loved being a mom. She also told a story that she had never shared publicly before.

“Here’s something I’ve never told anybody,” she said. “I’m a certified over-sharer. So a lot of people ask me what we have done with our embryos because we still have some.”

She suggested that she didn’t really know what to do at that point. “I can’t part with them,” she admitted. “We are paying to freeze them until… they’re going to have to come with me. I don’t know what else to do at this point because I love them so much and can’t make a decision.”

Kyle reminded her that they were done having kids at that point. However, she seemed to still be entertaining the possibility a bit more. “I said, ‘But what if?’ she recalled.

She then revealed that she’d want to have another child if her husband died.

At the time, this admission seemed morbid. “I told him the most morbid story the other day,” Samantha said. “I was like, ‘What if you passed? I would have to have another kid to be connected to you and name that child after you.'”

Her husband had questioned,” What is wrong with you?” However, she was just being honest and vulnerable about a thought that had crossed her mind before. “I was like, ‘These are the things I think about, Kyle,'” she recalled. “‘I love being a mom and I have never told anybody that until I told you.'”

The family celebrated Brexton’s birthday on May 18.

Both Kyle and Samantha shared loving messages for their son on social media to celebrate his 11th birthday. “11 years of loving you, cheering you on, and trying to figure out how you grew up this fast. 🥹” Samantha wrote. “Happy birthday to my sweet boy. Watching you become this driven, funny, kind-hearted little man has been the greatest gift. So proud of you every single day, Brex. No matter how tall you get or how fast you drive… you’ll always be my baby. 💚🧡🎂”

In his post, Kyle wrote, “Happy Birthday Brexton!!! Your mom & I are so proud of who you’re turning out to be! You’re the best kid on & off the track, you amaze us every day. Keep doing what you’re doing and there is no limit to what you’ll accomplish! Love you buddy!”
