When she wasn’t acting in hits such as Freaky Friday and Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan was continually turning heads off and on the red carpet. Vogue sat Lindsay down for its "Life in Looks" series to take a look at 18 different fashion looks from 1998 until now.
Lindsay opens the book of fashion looks to a photo of herself from 1998 at The Parent Trap premiere in a cute white dress that she remembers was from designer Nicole Miller.
“My mom still has this dress. She kept it for me. It’s still at home,” Lindsay recalls. “I’m so young and fresh and ready for a premiere!”
Fashion is something that has always excited the veteran actor. “I was always as a young girl really into fashion,” Lindsay explains. “I was the kind of little girl that on my 5th birthday, I had the greatest birthday dress with these kind of puffy sleeves and flowers all over.”
As she looks back at an old photo shoot from the early 2000s, Lindsay shares that she wasn’t always the biggest fan of her signature freckles.
“I was in and out of makeup very quick because I was still at the age where I would go to the bathroom and take everything down a little bit … so my freckles were covered enough,” Lindsay explains as she gestures to her face. “I was so hateful towards my freckles when I was young, but now I appreciate them.”
Looking back at a still from Mean Girls, Lindsay actually confessed that she really wanted to play the role of Regina George, which eventually ended up being played by Rachel McAdams.
