Trump’s Iran Threat Just Pushed His Ex-Ally Over The Edge: ‘25TH AMENDMENT!!!’

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) just made her most dramatic break from President Donald Trump yet. Trump issued his most alarming threat since the war with Iran began, writing Tuesday morning that “a whole civilization will die tonight” in a social media post. Greene, once a loyal supporter of the president, suggested Trump should be removed from office over the threat.

“25TH AMENDMENT!!!” she wrote on X, referring to the Cabinet’s power to remove a sitting president from office. “Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness,” she added.

Trump sent the dire warning at 8:06 a.m. ET, roughly 12 hours before the 8 p.m. ET deadline he set for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a vital Persian Gulf waterway for the transportation of oil and gas.

“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” Trump wrote in his Tuesday morning Truth Social post. “I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”

Trump left the door open for a possible diplomatic resolution ahead of the deadline, writing that “maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?”

“We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!” Trump wrote.

The president’s shocking social media post came just days after he issued an expletive-filled warning to Iranian leaders urging them to open up the Strait of Hormuz.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”

The Easter post also sparked outrage from Greene, who wrote on Sunday that Trump has “gone insane.”

“On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies,” she wrote.

“Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians. Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace. Not escalating war that is hurting people,” she said.

Greene’s latest statement demanding Trump’s removal from office is part of a larger trend of MAGA supporters defecting from the president over the Iran war.

Alex Jones, the founder of InfoWars and former supporter of Trump, also called for the Cabinet to remove the president from office over Iran. And Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News host and backer of Trump, said Trump’s Easter post was “vile.”
