Woman Takes Son’s DNA Test For Fun But Her Husband Files For Divorce The Very Next Day

Patricia and Gregory Holmes had been happily married for nearly 20 years. They had three beautiful children together, including a caring 17-year-old boy named Greg Jr. The teen was getting ready to graduate from high school and the family couldn’t wait to celebrate his exciting future, but little did they know, their close-knit family was about to crumble.

It was an evening Patricia and Gregory had spent with their close friends when the trouble started. One of Patricia’s friends mentioned how her sister had purchased a DNA kit online, and it was at that moment when the couple’s friends dared them to have a little fun and take the test themselves.

Patricia couldn’t say no to a dare, so she promptly ordered one of the DNA tests online for her family. Secretly, as they waited for the DNA kit to arrive, Gregory found himself filled with anticipation as he had always been curious about his family tree and ancestry.

Finally, the day arrived when the DNA kit arrived on their doorstep. They wanted to include their kids in the fun, so everyone swabbed the inside of their mouths so they could submit their information to the DNA testing lab.

A few days later, Patricia received an email in her inbox from the DNA testing company, and when she quietly read the results, she suddenly felt her heart start to race.

She kept the results to herself for a few weeks as she secretly emailed the company back and asked them to redo the tests to ensure everything was correct. She simply couldn’t bear bringing this information to her family without a solid confirmation.
