Little Girls Both Die On 7th Birthday After Playing With Mylar Balloons, Moms Speak Out

Two mothers in mourning have bonded over a painful experience, and the women have joined together to give a warning about mylar balloons after both losing their 7-year-old daughters in separate heartbreaking incidents.

Both of their daughters tragically died on their seventh birthday while playing with these balloons. Channa Kelley and Tiffany McIntyre spoke during an interview with Inside Edition, pleading that parents stay in close proximity to their kids and keep an eye on them when they're playing with balloons.

Channa took a nap while her daughter, Alexandra, played with the balloon. "I believe she cut the bottom, and I believe that she put it over her head," she said. When she woke up, her daughter was face down in the living room.

The same thing happened with Tiffany's daughter, Zahmira. "I could see that the number 7 mylar balloon was completely over her head and she wasn't breathing," she said.
