Murdered Tech Executive Bob Lee Led A Lifestyle Full Of Underground Sex And Drug Parties

They say you never truly know someone, and perhaps that is true.

On April 4, 2023, Cash App founder Bob Lee was stabbed and killed in San Francisco, California. His death was initially believed to be a random killing in a high-crime city. On April 13, Nima Momeni was arrested in connection with Lee’s death. It is now believed he and Lee both were part of an elite underground party scene in the city and that Lee was casually hooking up with Momeni’s sister, Khazar Momeni.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Lee’s friends never believed his death was random. They were fearful that his wild ways, known in elite circles as simply “The Lifestyle,” had caught up with him. Prosecutors quickly found evidence to back up their fears.

Prosecutors believe that on the night of Lee’s death, he and Nima Momeni got into an argument about Nima's sister, Khazar. Lee was stabbed several times and desperately staggered around seeking help. He eventually passed out near the Bay Bridge.

Many of Lee’s friends went on the record with WSJ to talk about his partying ways. Harper Reed, the CEO of General Galactic Corporation, admitted to attending a party with Lee where neither of them wore pants. Devon Meyers painted a tamer image of the party scene, claiming these helped Lee destress and network. Strict rules prevented anything from getting out of hand.

At the time of his death, Lee was separated from wife Krista Lee. The couple shared two children. Lee was allegedly taking advantage of his separated status and sleeping with multiple women, including Khazar Momeni.

Lee was an extroverted guy who loved to be the center of attention. Nima Momeni was reportedly jealous of this. He wanted what came so easy for Lee. All this came to a head on April 3, 2023, when the pair attended the same house party. Police say Momeni confronted Lee about his relationship with his sister.

Khazar Momeni even texted Lee to check up on him around the time of his murder. “Just wanted to make sure you’re doing ok Cause I know Nima came wayyyyyy down hard on you,” she inquired. “And thank you for being such a class manhandling it with class. Love you Selfish pricks.”

Krista Lee disagreed with Bob Lee’s friends, saying that he was never a “party boy” and that she had never heard the term “The Lifestyle” before. “He was a dedicated father. He was more mature than that,” she explained.

If convicted, Nima Momeni could face up to 26 years in prison for murdering Bob Lee.
