Royal Expert Claims It Was ‘Too Embarrassing’ For King Charles To Invite Prince Harry To Christmas

An invitation to Sandringham for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for Christmas would have made other members of the royal family “uncomfortable.” Royal biographer Ingrid Seward told the Mirror: “King Charles would have loved the opportunity to see his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, but he knew inviting Harry and Meghan would be embarrassing for the rest of the family. So, there was no official invitation.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are believed to be enjoying the Christmas holidays in Los Angeles with their two children and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. Instead of a church service and a traditional Christmas lunch, Harry’s Christmas would have been completely different from those of the past. Seward also believes that Meghan personally decorated their Montecito home for Christmas. She added: “It wouldn’t be a good look if Meghan, who touts herself as the quintessential American housewife, hired someone to decorate her home and trim her tree. She will have done it herself and she will have made the gingerbread house as per American tradition.”

“They will have chosen a tree from the rows of Christmas pines at one of the local stores. Their house and garden will be decked out in Christmas lights. Wealthy Montecito residents hire interior designers to decorate their homes and trees to perfection. “

Since his marriage to Meghan in 2018, Harry has only spent one Christmas at Sandringham, in the same year. This year, Christmas in Norfolk was a busy one, as King Charles brought together 45 members of his family for the festivities.
