Sharon Osbourne Confesses Ozzy’s Extramarital Affair Caused Her To Attempt Suicide

Sharon Osbourne was not afraid to go there during her live Cut the Crap show in London. She opened up about a painful time in her life. In 2016, she learned that her husband Ozzy Osbourne had been having a four-year extramarital affair with a hairdresser. When she found out, she attempted suicide.

Sharon thought that because her kids were older, they would be able to take care of themselves. Thankfully, she was not successful in her attempt. Ozzy and Sharon have been able to work through this difficult period in their marriage and are now stronger than ever.

This is not the first time there have been other women. “He always, always had groupies, and I was so used to that,” Sharon explained. “But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work … it is a whole different thing, as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills.”

Sharon was floored by the news. “So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom,” she went on to say. “The maid tried to come in to clean room and saw me.”

It appeared that Ozzy and Sharon were going to divorce in 2016. Ozzy went to rehab for sex addiction. The couple got back together that same year. The following year, they renewed their vows in Las Vegas on Mother’s Day.

In 2019, Sharon revealed on The Talk she has attempted suicide three times. “I was joking about this, but I shouldn’t, talking about my depression, and it’s like, you know, saying, ‘Oh, the first time I tried to kill myself was OK, the second — all right, the third time, oy!’” she stated. “But it’s like, I’m still here. I still do what I do and you struggle.”
