Simone Biles is arguably the greatest gymnast of all time, with four Olympic gold medals and 30 Gymnastics World Championship medals to her name. Along with her athletic greatness comes the pressure of being a public figure. People love to talk about her personal life. Tongues have recently been wagging about whether or not she is pregnant.
Simone took to Instagram to squash the rumors. She hated that it was even necessary to do so. For the record, she is not pregnant.
Simone used her Instagram stories to send a very clear message. She posted the original photo that caused the speculation in the first place. This photo was of her attending a Green Bay Packers game to cheer on her NFL player husband Jonathan Owens.
Simone overlaid text to the photo. "I hate that I even have to address this. But please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being 'pregnant,'" she asked. "I'm not pregnant."

Simone and Jonathan first met through the dating app Raya in 2020. Their paths did cross before that in 2019 when Simone led the Houston Texans, Jonathan’s team at the time, out of the tunnel before a home game, but the two didn’t personally connect at the event.
Simone made the first move by messaging Jonathan on the app. "He would say I slid into his DMs," Simone told The Wall Street Journal. "I saw him and I was like, 'Oh, he's pretty cute,' so I said hi … and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later."
Those first couple of hang outs went well. So well in fact that Simone and Jonathan got engaged in February 2022. Later that month they hosted a joint Instagram Live during which the subject of kids came up. "So I want two kids, he always says he wants a football team, but he usually says three," Simone shared. "We'll see.”
In April 2023, Simone and Jonathan got married in an intimate ceremony at a courthouse in Texas. The following month they traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and held a big second ceremony and celebration. The happy couple loved every minute of their two big days.
Marriage has changed the way Simone views her sport. “Gymnastics is just something I get to come in and have the privilege of doing. I don’t feel like it’s the end all be all anymore, as before I kind of felt like that," she told Today. “I get to go home to my husband, to my dogs, to my house and all of the things. So it feels really good.”
