Sinéad O’Connor Was Found Unresponsive In Her Home And Police Do Not Suspect Foul Play

According to UK police, Sinéad O'Connor's death is not being treated as suspicious. The famed Irish singer was found unresponsive in her London home on July 26, 2023. She was 56 years old.

"Police were called at 11:18hrs on Wednesday, 26 July to reports of an unresponsive woman at a residential address in the SE24 area,” the Metropolitan Police stated. "Next of kin have been notified. The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the Coroner."

In a statement, her family expressed their grief over the news. "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad. Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time."

To date, no cause of death has been disclosed. She is already missed by many.
