Taryn Manning isn't feeling so good about her recent outburst via video, in which she publicly exposed that she was having an affair with a married man. The since-deleted video was originally posted to her Instagram account, where she talked in explicit detail about the affair, how long it went on for, and some of the very intimate things that they did.
But in a recently posted apology, she shares regrets for having taken such extreme measures in the first place. She asked fans for privacy as she takes some time to heal.
In the original video, the Orange Is the New Black actress is sitting in her car recording herself. "The man that I've been messing with is a married man," she starts off.
“Every night, well, for about three nights in a row … I was licking his butthole because he liked it, and I didn’t mind doing it!" she continued, seemingly slurring her words. "Is that weird? That is what demons do."

She then goes on to talk about how she drove all the way to Newport Beach, California, so that she could buy him a boat. "I was so in love, so I thought that if I could buy this dumb man a boat, and I brought cash to put a down payment down, I really loved him."
Taryn then explains that the man's wife threatened to get a restraining order against her and have her put in jail. "I can't stand her," she said of the wife. "I know that's a lot of information, but I'm the lunatic, right? I'm just single, very single, and he came to me."
The 44-year-old actress then appears to get riled up. "I'll tell you one thing lady, you wanna put me in jail? I'll put you in jail so fast, your head'll be spinning. Don't you ever threaten me! I will show you how I deal! Don't you ever threaten me when your husband came to me to get his butthole licked!"
People commented under the video, which has since been posted to YouTube, showing concern.
"Get her some help ASAP," one person wrote.
"She’s not sober 🙁 hope she gets help soon," another person commented. "It’s so destructive and time is of the essence (and I say this as an addict in recovery). Regardless of fame people are only humans, hurting."
In her recent apology posted on Instagram, Taryn expressed her regrets about the video. "Over the past few days, I’ve had some time to reflect on the situation I’ve been dealing with. I was deeply hurt and handled things on a public platform when I should’ve dealt with them quietly with the support of my close friends and family," she said. "I felt a lot of guilt after exposing everything and thought maybe the best resolution to the situation would be to say I lied about it all, but that is not the truth."
“I started a relationship with somebody who was married and told me he would leave his wife,” Taryn continued. "In the end, I found out that wasn’t possible. I pride myself on being an ethical and kind person. I know what I did was wrong, but the heart makes you do crazy things sometimes."
She went on to apologize for the video, though she made it clear that she isn't sorry for how she loves and hopes to one day find someone who cherishes her in the same way. "This was a huge learning lesson for me. With all this said, I am asking everyone to please give me my privacy so I can heal and mend my heart. Thank you."
