TLC’s ’90 Day Fiancé’ Debuts Their First Ever Throuple

TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé is making history with the series’ first-ever throuple.

In a sneak peak of the hit dating show’s 11th season, viewers meet Matt and Amani, who are hoping to bring their girlfriend, Ani, from Mexico to the United States.

Matt and Amani say they’ve spoken with Ani “every day” since they met, doing holidays together and spending time with each others children. Amani, who identifies as bisexual, says that being a part of a throuple is similar to any other monogamous relationship.

”You’re dating that person, so you’re emotionally involved, physically involved, mentally involved,” she says. “Nothing is off the table.”

The reality star also explains the “stigma” around polyamorous relationships.

”It’s very sexualized,” she says. “A lot of people think it’s just a hookup, but it’s actually a long-term commitment, just like any other two-person relationship.”

But the long-distance throuple also admits they’ve had their challenges being away from Ani. “You can’t have that physical touch and interaction together, so we try to keep it spicy and interesting.”

As for Matt, he initially had reservations about being involved with two women at the same time.

”I was a little vulnerable to think that maybe there was something that I wasn’t able to fulfill for her,” he said. “The more we talked about it, the more we opened up to the idea together.”

90 Day Fiancé season 11 premieres February 16 on TLC.
