
A historic home in Beverly Hills is on the market for the first time in 70 years. In 1941, Gloria Morgan Vanderbilt leased the home with her daughter, who was also called Gloria Vanderbilt. The younger Gloria Vanderbilt was a socialite who explored many different creative endeavors throughout her life. Generally thought of as a fashion icon, the younger Gloria launched her own line of designer jeans in the 1970s. In addition to being a member of the globally recognized Vanderbilt family, an heiress to the Vanderbilt fortune, and a fashion designer, Gloria also pursued painting, writing, and acting.

She was the mother of journalist Anderson Cooper and died in 2019 at age 95. Now, the home that the mother and daughter once lived in, dubbed the Gloria Vanderbilt Estate, is for sale and listed for $16.495 million, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.

The stunning property has space for up to 400 guests and parking for 14 cars. B-movie actress Noreen Nash owned the home for 70 years before her death in 2023.

Gloria and Noreen are not the only influential people with connections to the home. The mansion has played host to stars such as Elvis, Warren Beatty, film producer Bob Evans, and actor Ali McGraw. Author Henry Miller even tied the knot at the property.
