Tomi Lahren recently appeared on Fox News, but she looked so dramatically different that some people were convinced it wasn’t actually her. Those who have been following Tomi, 33, probably noticed her apparent makeover before her recent Fox News appearance. But for people who haven’t been keeping up with the conservative commentator, her new look was baffling — and reminiscent of many of the women in President Donald Trump’s circle.
Lately, people have been talking a lot about “Mar-a-Lago face,” a term that has been used to describe the beauty (and plastic surgery) trends embraced by lots of conservative women. Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel, a board-certified plastic surgeon at SoCal Plastic Surgeons, described “Mar-a-Lago face” as “a recognizable combination of facial features and plastic surgery enhancements, often modeled after Ivanka Trump’s signature look,” per HuffPost. Experts told the publication that achieving this look is not simple (or cheap).

Tomi’s appearance on Fox News also went viral because of the controversial comments she made about former president Joe Biden. Even though he’s no longer president and was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2025, Tomi criticized him for going on vacation. But beyond her offensive comments, people had another concern: Is that even Tomi Lahren?
Responding to a clip of Tomi’s Fox News appearance shared on X, one person wrote, “Nice try but that’s clearly not Toni Lahren.” Someone else wrote, “There’s a second woman at fox named tomi lahren ? Cause that is not the same person.” And a third person chimed in with, “I refuse to believe this is Tomi Lahren. She was definitely recast.” Jokes aside, lots of people noticed Tomi’s “completely new face,” and reactions were extremely mixed. One person called it “a great example of ‘good plastic surgery doesn’t look like plastic surgery,'” while someone else said she looked like Jon Bon Jovi.

With many people talking about Tomi’s surprising transformation, RadarOnline asked some plastic surgery experts to share their thoughts. These experts have not worked with Tomi directly, but noticed some obvious changes in Tomi’s appearance.
Dr. Corey S. Maas told RadarOnline that Tomi “has a more defined jawline and neck and appears to have lost a small amount of weight, without speculating on how that occurred.” Dr. Smita Ramanadham said the “most obvious changes” are “elevation of her brows and a brighter and wider eye,” which “can be due to Botox or Botox with a brow lift.” Dr. Ramanadham added that she appears to have “fuller lips as well, most likely from lip filler” (in true MAGA fashion).
Both experts noted that Tomi’s nose looks different too, though this might not be due to surgery.
