An idyllic bachelorette party in California took an unexpected and chaotic turn when a curious bear decided to join the celebration. Shocking video footage captured the moment when a bear, in search of adventure, tore apart the interior of a parked car, leaving a group of partygoers in awe and distress.
The scene was set for a picturesque bachelorette party at a beautiful Airbnb in South Lake Tahoe, California. As the ladies were reveling in their festivities, little did they know that an uninvited guest would crash the party. A curious bear managed to open the door of one of the parked cars, inadvertently locking itself inside.
Trapped and bewildered, the bear responded to the confinement by going on a rampage inside the vehicle. The interior of the car became a victim of the bear’s incredible strength and curiosity, with seats, cushions, and any other bear-accessible items becoming casualties of the impromptu chaos.
Local law enforcement officers were summoned to the scene and tasked with resolving this peculiar situation. After assessing the situation, the police officers were able to carefully and safely free the bear from the vehicle. In the video, you can see the bear running off without a care in the world!
The car's owner, Alejandra Hernandez, went through her car once the bear was free to assess the damage that was done. Not only did the bear destroy most of the inside of her car, but he also felt the need to poop all over her back seat. Despite the damage, Alejandra still drove her car home all the way back to San Francisco.

In an interview with Inside Edition, Alejandra said, “When things like this happen, you kind of just have to laugh at it because there’s nothing else you can do. The situation has happened, might as well have a sense of humor about it.” It’s good to know that Alejandra has been able to find humor in her ordeal.
It also seems that it took a while for the insurance company to figure out if it covers bear attacks. I’m sure this was probably the first bear insurance claim they have gotten.
