Trump Claims He’s The ‘Healthiest’ President And Could Live To 200

President Donald Trump is once again bragging about how healthy he is, but with an interesting caveat. Given that he’s 79 years old, sometimes nods off during important meetings, and frequently appears to have bruising on his hands, among other concerns, people have had more and more questions about Trump’s health lately.

But during a recent speech, Trump assured people that he’d easily live to be 200 years old, if not for his diet.

He claimed that disgraced White House physician Ronny Jackson was the one who said this.

Trump was speaking at a ceremony for the U.S. Naval Academy football team when, somehow, his own health came up (and, of course, he spent some time comparing himself to former presidents like Barack Obama and Joe Biden). He claimed he didn’t “even want to talk about Biden,” and yet, he talks about him all the time.

But Jackson was in attendance, so Trump gave him a shoutout. Before numerous allegations against him came to light, Jackson worked as Physician to the President when Obama and Trump were in office. He also provided care to Former President George W. Bush as a physician in the White House Medical Unit during Bush’s presidency.

According to Trump, Jackson’s comments about his amazing health serve as proof that he’s the “healthiest” U.S. president.

Trump praised Jackson for saying this.

“The press asked him, ‘Who was the healthiest of the three?'” Trump said during his speech. “…He took a lot of heat for this. Most guys would say, ‘Well, we don’t want to talk about that.’ They said, ‘Who’s the healthiest of the three?’ He said, ‘President Donald J. Trump, by far. If he didn’t eat junk food, he’d live to 200 years old,’ he said.”

Trump added, “And I love this guy.” He referred to him as a “very respected White House doctor” who “saved a lot of lives” even though “people don’t realize that.”

This wasn’t the only time that Trump told some version of this story. Just a few days before, at a St. Patrick’s Day event, Trump also claimed that he’s the “healthiest” president because Jackson said so. “I’ll never forget, they said, ‘Who’s the healthiest president?'” Trump recalled, per the Daily Beast. “Because he covered Obama. He covered some others—I don’t want to say who. And Trump. He said ‘By far Trump. There’s nobody even close.'”

While Trump loves to talk about how healthy he is, some critics think he might be scared.

Because who is he trying to convince? Reacting to a clip of Trump’s recent speech on X, one person speculated, “He’s so obsessed by his health, physical and mental, he’s scared.” But apparently, if he really is scared, he’s not that scared. At least not scared enough to give up junk food.

Earlier this year, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made headlines when he spoke about Trump’s “unhinged” eating habits. “The interesting thing about the president is that he eats really bad food, which is McDonald’s, and, you know, candy and Diet Coke,” RFK Jr. said. “He drinks the Diet Coke at all times.” He added, “I don’t know how he’s alive, but he is.”
