Pat Sajak recently announced that he will be retiring from Wheel of Fortune after 41 seasons. The news came as a surprise to many, including cohost Vanna White, who recently shared her reaction to his announcement via Twitter.
"When we started @WheelofFortune who could have imagined we’d still be at it 41 seasons later?" she wrote.
"I couldn’t be happier to have shared the stage with you for all these years with one more to come," the 66-year-old added. "Cheers to you, @patsajak!"
Vanna and Pat began cohosting the show together in 1982. Their partnership marks over four decades together.

A source close to Vanna revealed that the cohost fears she'll be fired from the show after Pat leaves.
“The next year is going to be quite the ride and Vanna wants to be a part of it all even after he leaves," the source said, "and she hopes they don’t force her out."
