Woman Buys Chairs On Facebook And Then Realizes They Were Probably Stolen From McDonald’s

One woman has brought the McDonald's aesthetic to her home, and the humorous part about it is that she didn't know until recently. TikToker @martressler recently posted a video of how she got scammed buying furniture from Facebook Marketplace. Turns out, her purchase may have been made possible thanks to a McDonald's restaurant … and likely a thief.

"So I brought these chairs off of Facebook Marketplace, and immediately the guy deleted his Facebook page afterwards so that was a red flag," she started the video off. "But I thought they were cute and I always wondered where they were from."

She then goes on to show an image of what the chairs look like. Then, she shows the dining room of a McDonald's in South Georgia, and lo and behold, the same chairs she purchased are the same chairs in that restaurant. “It’s identical. Those are stolen McDonald’s chairs,” she erupts in laughter. “McDonald’s, I will kindly return these stolen artifacts to you. I do apologize. I know you’ve been spiraling out of control missing these chairs. Look no further.”

People in the comments were absolutely tickled by the realization.

"Bought a TV once off FB marketplace.. ended up being McDonalds menu screen ," someone shared.

"It was the Hamburglar ," another user commented.

Many also speculated that the chairs may not have been stolen, but rather sold at a resale store. Honestly, we may never know, but the video has caused a ton of laughs either way.
